Urban Garden

The urban garden was officially opened in August 2011 by the High Sheriff of Northumberland. The space was derelict, dark and full of rubbish. Funding was granted through the Sita trust for young people to revitalise the space. Young people designed and built the urban garden creating an enjoyable, relaxed community space.  There are planters made from recycled filing cabinets, art work and the very popular, ever changing graffiti wall.
